Tis’ the Season: Brands & Pets

It’s a canine Christmas. The Honest Kitchen has released a scratch and sniff book titledIs That My Dinner? Created by ad agency Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners (RTO+P), it’s being given away at pet shops nationwide. (Fast Company)

A whopping 95% of pet owners admitted to having bought a Christmas gift for their pet, according to a recent survey conducted by Rover.com – the nation’s largest network of dog sitters and dog walkers – of 1,000 U.S. pet owners. (NY Daily News)

Set another place at the table: Fido’s coming to dinner. The eat-like-your-owner strategy appears to be working. Sales of premium dog food have surged 45 percent to $10.5 billion in the U.S. since 2009 and now account for more than half of the market.(Chicago Tribune)
